Body Waxing for Legs, Arms, Underarms, Back and Chest
Body waxing takes the hair out from the root, so smooth skin lasts three to four weeks depending on the area. Some areas come back a little sooner and some a little later.
A leg wax is a 60 minute appointment and an arm wax runs 45. Underarms are quick at 20 minutes. A full back wax takes 45 minutes, a full chest wax 40, and the stomach and buttocks take 30 and 25 minutes.
Hair growth doesn't pause for a wax, and each area comes back on its own schedule. Booking every three to four weeks catches the hair once it's long enough to grip again, about a quarter inch, and keeps the smooth skin going without long gaps in between.
There is no single full body wax on the menu. Full body waxing at TLC is covered area by area, and each area has its own price and appointment length. If you'd like waxing and a nail service in one appointment, the spa packages combine a nail service with one or more waxing services.
Facial Waxing for the Lip and Chin
Facial waxing at TLC covers two areas. A lip wax takes 15 minutes for $15, and a chin wax takes 15 minutes for $15.
The same prep applies to your face as to your legs: a quarter inch of hair and no lotion on the skin that day. Afterward, facial waxing gets the same soothing product as any other area and the same 24 hours away from heat and sweating.
Bikini Waxing and Brazilian Waxing
Bikini waxing at TLC comes in four sizes, from a narrow clean-up of the line to everything removed.
A bikini wax takes care of the sides and the top of the bikini line in 30 minutes for $35, and the bikini line wax is the narrower version at $30.
An extended bikini wax goes further in than the line without taking it all, 35 minutes for $50.
A Brazilian wax removes all of it, front to back, in 40 minutes for $65.

Who Else Is in the Room During Your Wax?
Nobody. The suite books one appointment at a time and Thiara works alone, so for the length of your wax the room holds the two of you.
Body hair removal means undressing and holding still for someone, sometimes for 60 minutes on a leg wax. It is easier to relax into when the door is closed and yours is the only appointment in the suite. Every visit is booked ahead, and there are no walk-ins.
Thiara earned her Maryland esthetician license in 2025, a year after her nail technician license, and both hang framed on the suite wall. She opened the suite on Belair Rd in August 2025.
Soft Wax, Hard Wax, and Where Each One Goes
Hard wax goes on the most sensitive skin. It grips the hair as it sets and lifts away without a strip.
Soft wax is spread thin over the broader areas and comes off with a strip. Which one goes on depends on the area being waxed, and both are a premium wax.
Either way it is a hair removal method that works from the root, which is where the three to four weeks of smooth skin comes from. A razor only cuts the hair at the surface, so the regrowth is already there the next day.
Before Your Wax and After It
Hair removal with wax needs about a quarter inch of hair and clean, dry skin to grip well.
Before your wax
- Let the hair grow to at least a quarter inch, about the size of a grain of rice.
- Skip lotions and oils on the day of your wax.
- Exfoliate gently 24 hours before the appointment.
After your wax
- A soothing product goes on as soon as the waxing is finished.
- For the first 24 hours, stay away from heat, sweating and tight clothing.
- After 2 to 3 days, exfoliate lightly to help prevent ingrown hairs.
